SF - Shorts - Neue Heimat - Teil 1

Bevor es mit "Captain Past Tense" weitergeht - und vielleicht auch zwischendurch - werde ich hier ein paar SF-Kurzgeschichten präsentieren. Long time no C(PT)...

I don't know if somebody occassionally still drops in here or not. I'm pretty busy with other Comic-Productions and competitions at the moment. You can vote for "Aphrodyle" here. But I sure won't let go of this. Writing in English is getting kind of tough, though, and if there's gonna be new CPT-Material - it may be in German, in spite of the narrow market for SF there, but just to ease up my non-profit engagement.

Captain Past Tense - Midas Touch

I'm not really sure, wheather to go this way or not. Maybe this version of my second "Captain Past Tense"-Comic starts out too freaky. But, since I already did some pages, I'm gonna polish them, and post them as raw black and white-cuts. Just to see, how you, dear reader(s) might like them.
This first page may be extraordinarilly, uhm... special, but you can relax after this one I'll be done with Nietzsche at least for some while. It's probably more Ovid, anyhow, but I took it from: "Die Geburt der Tragödie aus dem Geiste der Musik". Nietzsche didn't bother to credit his sources at least in this edition. So here's the first page, a splash-panel - yuck!

They only have to work about an hour a day or so until they sweat, and Vektorian can get his kicks, and they get paid a more than decent salary. That's why most of them are in it. Melanie Billings is in it for the Cromen, a expensive intergalactic and interspecies drug, she could afford from her pocket-money, but earning her money herself, with a job like this is a way to provoke her father, Mr. Billings:

Who ist not pleased with the situation at all.

Lost Knife, Loose Ends

Remember? Last Ish (or is it still this Ish?) Sabrina lost her knife, she missaimed at one of the pirates. To fetch she had to go down to the ground of jungle planet Tior. This is an account of what happened:
